You might know us for cordless comforting warmth. But behind every Stoov, there’s a lot more going on than warmth. This B Corp Month, we wanted to share a few things you might not know about our impact and our mission to warm people and not the planet.

1. We met B Corp standards from the beginning.

In December 2023, Stoov became a Certified B Corp with a score of 95.7! The thing is, we didn’t redesign our business to qualify. Impact was already woven into how we build, source and think. Certification simply confirmed what was already true: we warm people, thoughtfully.

Being a B Corp is not a finish line but a commitment to keep improving and we’re very proud to be one of 10,000 businesses globally working towards positive change. 

2. We warm people, not rooms (or the planet)

The warmth revolution? Join us! We’ve reconsidered warmth as you know it and made warmth more personal and sustainable. Traditional heating systems warm entire rooms and spaces, no matter how many people are home. We’ve shifted the focus and created a range of warmables that warm the person directly.

That shift matters. Why? 

Impact! With over 1.7 million Stoov’ers, we’re seeing a behavioural change. Our Sensor Project showed us that 32% of customers lower their thermostat while using their Warmable. When 32% of our 1.7 million Stoov’ers lower their thermostat by just 1°C, the potential saving is around 113,600,000kg of CO₂ saved per year. Less energy wasted. More personal comfort.

3. In the last year 90% of returned components were reused

Products shouldn’t be disposable. Through our refurbishment programme and spare-parts system in the last year, 90% of returned components were reused. That means fewer materials wasted and more Warmables living longer lives. Because the most responsible product is the one that stays with you.

4. Our materials are fully certified

From GRS certified recycled polyester to GOTS certified organic cotton, our fabrics are 100% certified. Certification matters. Transparency matters. Accountability matters. Comfort should feel good in every sense.
